sava method

(From 6 years and up by age group)

Once the maturation of the body schema is complete, the child is ready to engage in this discipline that requires rigor and determination. The music, first the adagio and then the allegro, marks the time of execution of the exercises performed first at the barre, helping to maintain the 'body axis, then to the center.

The training course will be structured gradually: from the first exercises at the bar, which help to maintain the body axis, to the more complete ones at the centre which consolidate the balance and control of one's body, up to the more complex dynamics of the turns and the jumps and an approach to the repertoire of the discipline, in its practical, technical and analytical aspects.
The young students thus acquire the basic elements codified by the art of choreography, useful for composing simple choreographies that become more challenging as the technique is perfected. Each lesson will have a musical accompaniment that promotes an education in music, in its double value of rhythm and melody .

The teaching is implemented through the Sava Method; an educational approach to teaching classical dance, which combines the elaborate and rigorous study system of the Vaganova technique with the musicality, speed, dynamics and purity of lines of the Balanchine style.

It offers a new and innovative teaching method that leads students to achieve maximum results in harmony with their psychic, physical, artistic and musical personality.

It is intended for all teachers who believe in an education that can enhance the abilities of all students with a study that exalts in every phase all the harmony and beauty of dance.
